Fishing Report: 09/20/2020 Paw Paw Lake (Coloma, MI)

This morning I decided to drive a bit further to a fishing pier out on Paw Paw Lake, it is not too much farther than the river.

I read that there is a nice assortment of species here and wanted to give a try at some largemouth bass fishing.

I setup my rod with a Texas Rig with a new worm I purchased yesterday and a 1/4 oz bullet weight.

Well about 90 minutes into fishing, I caught my first Largemouth Bass.  I was so excited and nervous that I did not want to kill the fish, so I did not weight this one, but from the looks of it, it was probably just over 1 lb.
